As part of her ongoing work in AQUABALANCE, Nora Geirsdotter Bækkelund held a lunch seminar, “𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐻𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑆ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑙: 𝐸𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑐, 𝑠𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑒𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑣𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐸𝑢𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑛 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑙 𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑦”, at BOKU University in Vienna. During the seminar, Nora shared a comparative perspective on how the industry has developed across four European countries (Norway, Denmark, Ireland and Italy) and what challenges lie ahead.
